Note: as this is essentially a one-shot character, I didn't quite put as much time into her as I have or will with characters that will be around more...she's basically here because the arrival of a sort of villain was badly needed. So, without further ado....here's Runa:
Player Info
Name: GB
Contact Info: PM or email (if you’re admin)
How you heard of Code Titan: rawr
Character Info
Name: Runaryn “Runa” (No known last name)
Age: 21
Gender: female
Species: human
Home world: Earth
Alignment: Chaotic evil/neutral (because its funny, is as good a reason as any)
Weapons: none
Items: none
Powers/Abilities: Master Illusionist. Runa can envelop any number of people into a totally lifelike illusion, wherein she control everything but the victim. The number of people ensnared in a single illusion is totally up to her; she can either seal everyone in a single illusion, or give everyone their own personal illusion, or any combination of the two. Perhaps the most fearsome part of her illusions is how real to life they are. When ensnared in her illusion, it is impossible to tell what is real and what is not. And the illusion is so powerful that it tricks the body’s systems as well as the mind into believing it is real. In other words, if you are injured by an illusion…your body is so convinced that it was actually hit that it will take the damage in reality.
Very light telepathic abilities, only allowing her to read minds, she uses this to find the weak spots in a person's psyche, and attack there
Pets: none
Appearance: 5’6”, short, light red hair, red eyes, slender and over all, very attractive.
Minus the fan
Personality: Highly analytical, and takes great pleasure from watching other people mentally start to break under the influence of her illusions. However, this can only keep her attention for too long before she gets bored and moves on to something else…occasionally dropping the illusion altogether and leaving town. When not messing with people’s minds, she seems like a completely normal person, and often will continue to seem like a victim of something rather than the one causing all the havoc.
She holds a particular like for dancing, and will often do so to draw the attention to herself so she can initiate her illusions with ease
History: Not much is known about her, only that she sees that Titans as something of an amusement factor. Up to this point, nearly everyone she’s been up against has fallen to her powers, either mentally, or physically. She’s out to test the true scope of her powers, by using them against the Titans…almost as much out of curiosity to see if a ‘hero’ would be able to handle it
Example of First person RP, and Third Person RP:
FP: “Hello Titans, and whatever other friends may be watching this if you are seeing this, then you have either survived what my powers did to you, or I simply became bored with you and released them while you still had your sanity. Either way, I must say that it has truly been an enjoyable time messing with all of your heads.”
“Regardless of what you have seen and experienced today, I do truly hope that this trauma stays with you for the rest of your lives, the difficulty of dealing with what I made you all do in your own dark little worlds, and the realization that if pushed, what you are all capable of doing. Farewell little heroes, and remember to hold to a dream, before your nightmares become your reality.”
TP:
A long silver gown flared this way and that, flowing like water to the smooth rhythm of their owner’s dance. Twirling about gracefully among several people it slowly became apparent that she was the only one moving around. Everyone else in the room stood, sat, or lay about, looking towards her, as though entranced. Closer inspection revealed that, in fact, this was the case; blank stares were all that came from their eyes.
The girl twirled about, her light red hair dancing across her cheeks as she moved, her crimson eyes glinting, and a small smile forming on her face.
Abruptly, several of the people in the room’s faces twisted away from the neutral expressions they had, and became ones of fear, shock, anger, pain, and sorrow. Rapidly, some of the people cried out, and collapsed to the ground, a little bit of blood trailing from their mouths as life left them. Others curled into balls, sobbing, while still others just screamed.
Eventually, the girl stopped her graceful dance and looked around at all the people. Most of them had died, and the remainder had clearly lost their sanity into hysterics or sorrow.
One final twirl later the girl sashayed towards the door, “Oh what a fragile thing the mind is, how fragile indeed.”
